My Story

I am a innovative designer looking to expand & develop my experience, knowledge and skills.
I first was introduced to Graphic design during school, this was where i got my initial insight to the “Adobe Design” packages as well as various other software packages such as ulead, corel, etc. At this stage i was able to explore and research, in a variety of areas.
I found that having a keen interest in computers all around and having a creative talent opened doors in new digital media oppertunities.
Following on, i continued to gain experience in many design packages and moved onto 3d modeling and animation using Sketch-Up, 3D Studio max, Bryce 3D and Vue. I utilized my time to gain as much knowledge as possible as various software opened broader opportunities & tools.
At this point i believe i had created a base and developed key elements to creating projects, seeing through and finalising projects.
Using:
Brief – Clients needs
Research – Who, What, Where, When, How
Ideas – Fonts, Colours, Layout
Development – Strengths and weakness
Final – Completion
This method proved to be effective throughout university and i still use it today.
During university i studied “Graphic Design for Interactive Media”, during he degree i developed my skills and knowledge to an advanced level but more importantly i was able to specialize in design and evolve toward perfection.
Whilst being at university i took on freelance work to gain experience in the real world and apply my skills effectively.
Successfully completing my degree and gaining 2:1 i went straight into a internship programmer, doing online marketing. Working for “Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People” was a great opportunity as the charity was undergoing a re-brand at the time so enabled me to have valuable experience in redesigning all the literature as well as marketing campaigns and manage the online website and social media.
